The Pathfinder MKII is the only portable searchlight of its type that allows the user to remove the internal battery module and replace it with a fully charged module in just a few seconds. Other similar searchlights must be connected to a charger for 14 hours to be recharged, unless expensive Fast Chargers are employed. The Pathfinder MKII gives the user the option of keeping battery modules fully charged on stand-by at base and in a vehicle ready for immediate use. The battery can also be recharged whilst in the searchlight by connecting the charger transformer directly to the recharge/auxiliary power socket on the searchlight. For optimum effectiveness the Pathfinder MKII Portable Searchlight features a bulb & reflector combination. The bulbs utilise energy more efficiently than the sealed beams used in other portable searchlights, and for equivalent wattage give up to 50% more light. The life of these bulbs is 2,000 hours compared with as little as 25 hours for the sealed beams most commonly used in other searchlights. Threaded inserts in the base of the searchlight facilitate direct connection to standard or professional tripods. The Pathfinder MKII Portable Searchlight has been designed to permit easy field servicing, and the replacement of major components without the need for lengthy and expensive workshop maintenance. Features: Moulded carcass with colour options - black, & orange. Others available as Special Orders. Interchangeable battery pack to save down time when recharging. Built-in tripod mounts 3/8” and 1/4” for easy mounting. Metal parabolic reflector - lightweight, efficient. Xenophot bulbs - low cost spare can be contained in searchlight. Protection against battery deep discharge with audible cut out warning - this can be disconnected for covert applications. Waterproof & dustproof to IP67 – subject to correct servicing. Auxiliary power facility enables searchlight to be powered for prolonged periods from any 12vdc supply with, or without, battery inserted. 20, 35, 50, 70 & 100 watt bulb options (50 watt fitted as standard). Option to use Par 46 sealed beams if preferred. Remote control (optional). Range of accessories - IR Lens, Wire Lens Guard, Carry Bags, Auxiliary Power Lead. Searchlight will float beam up.
